We tested this control-handle harness on creek crossings, truck-bed assists, and narrow ledge sections where a top handle is non-negotiable. The handle sat centered without twisting the spine when we lifted a 55 lb dog over a log — two-person assist still recommended above that weight. Reflective panels stayed visible in fog on Mt. Tam loops. Webbing showed no fray after six weeks of brush. The chest plate did not ride up on downhill grades when we kept the girth snug.
